CANCELLATION POLICY
- full refund for cancellations made more than 60 days from the arrival date
- 50% refund for cancellations made more than 30 days before the arrival date
- no refund for cancellations made within 30 days of the arrival date
LATE CHECK-IN - For late check-ins (after 8pm) contact us before booking to understand how we can satisfy your needs. The wording "flexible check in" does not mean that we are available 24/7 but that we also take into consideration late check ins but only if communicated and agreed before booking.
SOFA BED
In the case of booking by 2 people, the sofa bed will not be prepared unless explicitly requested. The sofa bed will in any case be prepared in the case of booking for three guests.
OTHER INFORMATION
When you book you will receive a message with the booking confirmation and some tips and tricks. You will be asked to get in touch with us a few days before the arrival date: it is very important for us to agree with you on the meeting time at the apartment as I work during the day and have to plan the day in advance. In some cases we can configure a self check-in, but under some conditions. Even in the case of self check-in, please provide us with your arrival time to be available in case of problems upon your arrival at the property.
Any type of event or party is NOT permitted in this facility. Only people on the reservation can use the property and no other people can be brought in. Smoking is prohibited inside the property.
IDENTIFICATION PROCEDURE (IMPORTANT) - According to Italian law you will be asked to show and/or provide a copy of your document (identity card or passport, other types of documents are not allowed) before your arrival or at check in. You will also be asked to fill out and sign a registration document upon your arrival. In the case of self check-in, you will be asked to send us a copy of your identification document (of all guests) exclusively on the Airbnb portal, before arrival pending actual personal identification.
Therefore, by booking this property you agree to share the personal data of all guests and to provide what is requested above.
Considering that the rules in Italy are very restrictive, failure to comply with the above could force us to cancel the booking without any refund. Therefore, we ask you to cooperate as we believe everyone's safety is a priority.
WASTE MANAGEMENT - DIFFERENTIATED
In central Catania, door-to-door waste collection is practiced, therefore we ask you to place your rubbish from 8.00 pm to 10.30 pm (following the program indicated below) in plastic bags in the bins positioned to the left of the building door.
Collection schedule:
SUNDAY - Plastic and Metal
MONDAY- Organic / Food
TUESDAY - Paper and Cardboard
WEDNESDAY - Glass and Organic / Food
THURSDAY - Undifferentiated
FRIDAY - Organic / Food
PARKING - The area is served by free and paid street parking. Since 16 June 2024, a ZTL (limited traffic zone) has been established in the square around the castle and it is no longer possible to park in this square. The building in which our apartment is located can also be easily reached by car. Take a look at the image we added in the announcement to understand which areas are affected by the new road system. The other streets around remain accessible to vehicles and with parking spaces available.
You will receive further instructions upon check-in and you will find information in the kitchen.
